Description

The GH2114 modular buffet table with ice trough is an 1800 mm chilled display module built to be joined into a full buffet line. Each unit combines an ice-chilled show area under glass sneeze guards, an LED-lit plate storage shelf, and a mobile stainless steel chassis, so a banquet line is assembled from identical modules instead of custom-carpentered counters.

What the Ice Trough Module Does

Chilled service is the hardest part of a buffet line to improvise: ice melts, trays slide, and guests queue around a station that was never designed for cold display. This module solves it with a recessed ice trough set into the worktop, sized for standard gastronorm trays, with tempered glass guards that keep the display hygienic and the cold air in.

  • Chilled show area. Ice trough holds seafood, salads and desserts at temperature under two glass guards.
  • Repeatable modules. Identical 1800 × 800 × 800 mm units join end to end into any line length.
  • Warm plate storage below. An illuminated shelf keeps service plates stacked and ready between the line and the guest.

Chilled Display Under Glass Guards

The two angled glass covers do double duty: they protect the food from coughs and flies, and they present it, because the LED light around the display edge makes the ice bed glow against the wood-grain body. The render below shows the module as delivered, with the plate shelf lit and the trough ready for loading.

The body is a stainless steel frame wrapped in fireproof board with a wood-grain finish, so the module matches warm hotel interiors instead of looking like a kitchen trolley. All exposed edges are scratch resistant, and the front panels are interchangeable when a room is re-themed.

Plate Storage That Keeps Service Moving

The lit lower shelf is not decoration. Banquet staff reload plates from one side while guests serve themselves from the other, which removes the constant back-and-forth that slows a buffet line down. In the scene below, the module stands alone as a complete chilled station in a hotel buffet lounge.

Build Modules into a Full Buffet Line

Because every module shares the same chassis height and locking alignment, lines are built by rolling units together: two modules for a boutique brunch, six or more for a banquet showcase. The workshop photos below show modules joined with cooking and chilled sections in one continuous run, all on casters for fast room turns.

Customization and Lead Time

Module length, panel finish, guard layout and logo can be customized, and mixed lines combine this ice trough with the cooking and carving modules of the same series. Production takes 30 to 45 days for large orders and less for small quantities, with one-piece orders accepted for pilot projects. The OEM/ODM manufacturing service page describes how drawings move to production, and the buffet supplies sourcing guide helps you plan which modules a full line needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is production for a customized module?

Usually 30 to 45 days for large orders. Small quantities take less production time, and single-piece orders are accepted.

Can modules be mixed with heated sections?

Yes. Modules share chassis height and alignment, so chilled ice trough units and heated cooking units join into one continuous line.

What after-sales support is included?

We support customers with professional advice and repair service throughout the service life of the buffet system.

See the whole family on the modular buffet system page, or browse the buffet station product catalog to plan a complete setup.
